Whats wrong with my 2000 dodge caravan?

last night my 2000 dodge caravan started making a knocking noise while driving, so I pulled over and checked the oil, it needed more so I filled it. The knocking noise stopped then it started up again and my car lost everything including power steering etc. I tried turning over the key and I just heard non stop clicking sounds, and the lights were dim and flickering, we weren't able to jump start it either. We tried and it wouldn't start up.

Sounds like your alternator and/or battery are shot. If the battery is in really bad shape a jump start might not even work. Test the battery and alternator.

The knocking sound due to low oil level could well be bearings starting to go bad, or it could have been from your valves due to worn lifters clacking with low oil pressure. Doesn't bode well for the engine either way.
