I would like to buy a mini SUV for my family of four. I don't consider a bigger SUV since I don't like to go through tight roads in my neighbourhood with them. But I need rough terrain riding.

Personally I want one, but I can’t get one. Because they don’t sell them in the US.
Yes, a better choice for reliability and longevity would be a CRV or RAV4.
With that said, Suzuki is one of the few brands I would be willing to take a chance on beyond Honda or Toyota.
Although Suzuki makes awesome motorcycles, it really is not a good car company and its car engines are on the weak side. I would consider Toyota RAV4 or Toyota CHR (if you want smaller than RAV4) or Honda CRV instead. With that being said, if you want to buy a brand new and sell it after couple of years, it should be fine.
Like @yaser said Suzuki isn't great at making cars and you would be better off with a RAV4 or CR-V, but I would also like to add the Honda HR-V if you have it there those are good cars in fact better because of the Naturally Aspirated engine.
