I just got a 2018 Dodge Durango SXT plus AWD 3.6L v6, a couple months ago and it’s up to 25k miles. I was wondering what intervals I should change the fluid in the transmission at. I was thinking around every 30k miles because it’s a dodge. I would like to keep it forever, what are your thoughts?
Also I know Scotty hates dodge but my friend got a 2015 Dodge Charger awd new and it’s at 180k miles with no major issues. Same 3.6L engine
30k miles is a bit too early but if you are worried about the car, it is your choice.
But is there really a “Too early” for preventative maintenance? Like for example if you needed to change your engine oil every 6k miles but you changed it every 5 just to make sure it was done on time, is there anything wrong with that?
No. Just wasting money.
