I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla LE.with 168K When Should I have Timing done and should I have ATransmission serviced
I purchased car from elderly couple at 100k 7 yrs ago.they had it serviced at a dealer regularly but not sure of Trans being serviced also, I have kept most regular maintenance, oil changes,tire rotation etc,When Should I do the timing.Have no issues shifting,their is a bit of rough idle while sitting at a traffic light while in drive .Thanks you.Jack in CT

What do you mean by "do the timing"? A 2006 model has no distributor and no timing adjustments as far as I know. For details on changing transmission fluid see the FAQ.
