I have a 2016 A6 2.0T S Line w/ 8 speed tiptronic Quattro. It has 86000 miles. I bought CPO used in 2019 with 30000 miles. Engine is being replaced. My extended warranty is covering the cost. I'm concerned with keeping it due to the mileage on the transmission. Should I accept the gift of the new engine and sell ?

Sounds like an excellent plan. That car will only keep getting more expensive to repair as it ages.

Yes, that's a complicated transmission so once you get your new engine, it's a good idea to sell while you can.
