I have a 2017 4 cyl. automatic Camry w/15k miles on it. Bought it new 3 1/2 yrs. ago. Last synth. oil chg.was 13 months ago at 12750 miles. As you see, don't drive much, but I do get the engine temp up to max even if my trips aren't typically that long. What's most important with this oil, days since last chgd or miles?

You want to change the oil (and filter) at least once a year even if it doesn’t get driven much.

Once a year or every 5,000mi (whichever comes first) seems to a widely accepted interval

Once a year or every 5k miles is recommended. Even synthetic oil will break down over time as it sits in the oil pan over hot and cold pavement.
