I have a 2016 Toyota Rav4 with 45000 miles. The front brake pads will need replacement in the near future. Can I keep the original rotors if they look ok or should I just replace them anyway?

There's a thickness specification on the rotor, measure thickness. However, there shouldn't be a need with only 45k on it unless you notice a vibration when braking thru the steering wheel. Replace pads when you hear a squeal when applying the brakes (build in design to do this) Mileage can not determine how long pads last, either inspection or wait for squeal.
