I have 1989 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 imported from Japan.  Need a replacement radiator fan but they are discontinued, even dorman products don’t carry a replacement.   Any suggestions?

thank you

Well, that's a problem. When you buy vehicles from Japan. It's often hard to get parts form here in the United States. But there are often universal fan motors. You can buy that with splicing the wires in. They will work fine as long as you can bolt them onto the radiator bracket. I've often done that with oddball cars. All auto parts stores sell all kinds of fans. Some of them come with a bracket that you just remove the old bracket and bolt the new bracket in on your car with the fan built into that bracket

It should be possible to rig an aftermarket replacement. I've done that on my old cars when cooling fans failed.
