Cant seem to get a straight answer to were the Fuel pump Module is actually at on my 03 taurus wagon. Its in a different place i believe than the sedan. I had a bad Fuel pump replaced last week . I want to change out the Fuel Pump Module also . Under stand its just a unplug the old one and plug in the new ,nothing else to do if i could find it . Can you tell me exactly were it is a actual image would be even better . Thought it was were the spare was hidden but didn't see it .What say ? thanks
I have been looking for the fuel pump driver module for a week now and it is not in the shop manual and no one seems to know where it is located on a 2003 Sable LS Premium Station Wagon. People keep giving me the location of the driver module on a sedan but it is somewhere else on the wagon. I pulled all of the trim panels and it is nowhere near the spare tire or the inertia switch{passenger side), I am almost to the point of junking the car. About 10 years ago I had trouble finding a similar module on my 2001 Taurus and I finally found that one hidden behind the radio!! It seems like someone would know where that module is on a wagon!!
behind and below the inertia switch. In the void between the interior and exterior sheet metal
@SablePremium and @jack62 can you both copy and paste your answers into the ‘Your Answer’ section down below? Thank you.
Pull back the carpeting in the trunk behind the driver side rear seat you should see the rectangular box that's the module assembly
@scottykilmer
nothing found in the cargo area behind the seat in the rear on the drivers side of the taurus wagon that i saw. The cargo area has no carpet just a cloth thats glued down . I open the lid in the middle of the cargo area where the third seat is pulled everything out nothing found as for the Fuel Pump driver module. so still dont know where it is. what do u say on this ? I must be crazy i guess! remember this is a taurus station wagon not a sedan. thanks
There is no trunk on a station wagon!
