Hi Folks,
I'm looking for a legit repair manual for my 1997 Lexus LS400/Toyota Celsior. I paid for and downloaded one from a site (name escapes me) for my IS220D and it was half empty. Think I got lucky. Now I'm looking at these sites with these red/yellow download buttons and I feel like if I press 'em I'm gonna blow up like the coyote in the Looney Toons cartoons.
I don't like the subscription thing, but back in the 90s I think they did release the complete manuals. I think it's just a question of where to get them. The physical books are about £150 > £200 + £80 delivery from the USA on Ebay, but wondering if I can get a PDF download thingy.
This looks legit as far as I can tell:
https://www.workshopservicemanual.com/m0072108-lexus-ls400-xf10-xf20-1989-1997.html
Caveat: I know nothing about that site and found it via an online search. The manual was downloaded and opened on a Linux system connected to the internet using a VPN and a browser armed to the teeth with script and ad blockers. I can't tell if there's anything going on that would harm a Windows PC.
Better grab this now, before it gets taken down for breaking copyright law.
Thanks again gents, that should cover it.
