Which car should I keep?

Hey Scotty,
I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited and a 1998 Camry XLE.  I bought the Jeep new and the Camry belonged to my Mother.  They are both 6 cylinder engines and automatic transmissions.  They have been mechanically sound up to now, and have had the maintenance done. The Jeep has 219000 km and the  Camry has 229000 km.  The Jeep has been highway driven the whole time I have owned it as I commuted 700km a week for 7 years.  I now carpool with 3 other people. We want to purchase a new car next year and give one of those vehicles to our daughter who is turning 16. She will mainly be using to it to zip around town and go to school. Which vehicle to you think would serve her best, the Jeep or Camry. We live in Calgary Alberta.
Awesome work, keep it up.

Thanks,

Best Regard.

Paul

If it was me, and they are both in solid shape, I'd keep the Camry - better gas mileage, a little more comfortable, less likely to need major repairs. Plus, presuming you are selling the Jeep, you could get a good chunk of money for it now, much more than the Camry, which will come in handy next year when you buy new.

Thanks! Having a 20 plus year old car worries me, but I hear they can last 300000 miles
