Deciding on either 2020 honda civic sport manual transmission OR 2021 honda accord sport, 10spd automatic,  2.0 Turbo.  I know there is price difference.  But am unsure of accord turbo reliability.

I would go with a naturally aspirated manual transmission Civic.

The Civic has an option of a 1.5T or 2.0 I'd go Civic if its the 2.0 but would avoid it if you are looking at one with the 1.5T engine. @mod_man has more to say about the 2.0T Accord.

And I am not trying to give you a tough time or anything. I am just trying to keep it all straight. I usually double check against the manufacturer’s published brochures and spec sheets.

Oh no thank you I was just wondering why google made it wrong because usually its right but hey its the internet anything could be wrong thanks for clarifying
I guess Honda knows better about their own car than google does {black}:surprised:

I personally like manual transmissions, so I’d go with the Civic. Heck, manual transmission are a dying breed, so snatch them up while you can.

The Civic with manual transmission is indestructible, the Accord has Turbo and the Honda automatic (especially on Accords) are not so great.

My 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport 10-speed has run flawless for the first 10k miles now. I did see a small amount of oil dilution but I change my oil religiously at 5k mile intervals so I'm not concerned. The guys who stretch their oil change intervals will be hit the hardest by that issue.

I'd have no problems recommending the car. I love the style, it gets me 30MPG a trip easily, and in sport mode it has a ton of punch to it. Plus insurance is cheap, maintenance is cheap.....I'm a happy customer.

Both are solid choices, but what are your goals with the vehicle?  The Accord you mentioned with the 10-speed has only been out since 2018 MY so long term reliability is still unknown (myself - I’d go with the manual but they stopped offering it on the Accord sometime in 2020 MY).   If all you care about is keeping for as long as possible and you already test drove both and liked both, then I say get the Civic Sport which has a NA 2.0 L engine (K20C2) with the manual - a good combo for the long haul.

Thank you for all the advice. Appreciate it!

Go with the civic manual.
