2011 Ford F-250 King Ranch fully loaded 4 door 4x4 8 foot bed 6.2 gas. 108,000 miles. 2 owners both served as a commercial vehicle carfax shows accident with minor damage clean title $21,900.

2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 4x4 basic work truck 4 door 8 foot bed power door locks but manual windows 6.0 gas 117,000 miles. Carfax does show 2 owners served as government and commercial and accident reported but clean title. $14,500.

I do like the Chevy because it’s like $7,500 cheaper but feeling hesitant based on both the carfax reports.

The Chevy also has an open recall but isn’t the dealer supposed to fix that for free?

The chev was a government vehicle, get the Ford. I work for the government. The vehicles are treated like absolute crap.

Government vehicles are taken care of worse than our southern border.

Ford, newer and lower miles. Also commercial ownership over govt ownership.

Wow I always thought government vehicles were more strictly taken care of and more maintained I do prefer 1 owner personally owned

I would pass on both since they had accidents.  Also, previous commercial and government ownership - they may have seen more abuse than if it was a personal vehicle.

Is the 2011 Ford F-250 based on the mileage and carfax report with an accident and 2 commercial owners still worth $21,500 or could it be talked down to lower? The blue book value still says $23,420
