Yo scotty, i’m looking for a good used car for my first car, was wondering which is better. My four choices are a 2008 honda accord coupe, 2005 acura rl, 2009 infiniti g37, and 2008 mercedes’ c300. Which is a better buy, thanks!
Between these, I would choose the Acura. But generally you better off with Corolla, Camry, Accord or Civic for your first car. Search this forum for more information. The 2008 Accord you mentioned has lots of issues, that's why I don't consider it.
Thanks man, I appreciate the help from you!
Also, for the honda accord coupe, should I just avoid the 2008 model year and get 2009+ or just avoid the 8th gen overall?
You're welcome. I would consider 2011 as a good model year in that generation.
Well, I would throw the Mercedes C300 out the window, they are endless money pits. Between the Infiniti G37 and Acura RL, I would personally buy the G37 since its more fun, has no timing belt, and there is a better aftermarket for the G's vs the Acura RL since Acura didn't sell a lot of them and I have seen the parts being more expensive than other Acura models, however between the 2009 G37 and 2008 Accord, I would buy neither because the G37 is gonna be more costly to own than the Accord but the 2008 Accord has had their fair share of problems with oil consumption and brake problems. As Yaser mentioned above, the 2011 Accord would be a better buy since it's worth looking at for a first car and they ironed out the issues from the 2008 model.
Looks like i’ll be sticking with the accord 2011 and newer. Thanks for the support!
