Which is a good year for toyota corrola

I scotty i want to buy a used toyota corrola i was looking at a few and was thinking something newer than 2016 what should i look out for, i just want something reliable, are there any models to avoide or and models you reccomend budget was around 14-16 thosand

As with all used cars, you'd want a reputable mechanic to check it out first. Ask to see the title, if it says rebuilt or salvage, don't buy it. That'd mean it was totaled by an insurance company, having been wrecked, flooded, or stolen. 

In addition, test drive one first, because I'm pretty sure most came with a CVT. They are quite different than a regular automatic. If you find one with a manual transmission, thats even better. It's just a matter of what you want. The 1.8L in those things are bulletproof.

I suggest you take a look on those made in 2017 or 2018. In 2019 new generation came out and issues are yet to be resolved (hatchback for example).

You can easily get anywhere from 2017-2019 for that price range. They’re all excellent vehicles. For the 2019 model year, you can even get the hatchback version
