Hello again Scotty and friends quick question Is the 2.5 non hybrid RAV4 or the 2.7 Venza a better engine?
Both are excellent, and its a hard choice. One thing to note, the later year in the generation the better. So a 2015 Venza would have less annoying problems than a 2009, and a 2018 RAV4 than a 2013...
Engine wise, here really aren't problems with either on that generation. The previous gen RAV4 had oil burning issues but not anymore.
If you are thinking of buying one, it would be a case by case analysis.
I have a 2016 RAV4 38,000 miles on it now I was just wondering if the older Venza 2.7 was better because I know it’s for the same 4 cylinder as the Tacoma. I still like my RAV4 I was not looking to get rid of it to get a Venza or anything. Just a curiosity.
For a long run, the non-hybrid engines are better.
There both non hybrids I should be more specific I’m referring to a 2013-18 RAV4 2.5 and the older Venzas 2.7 not the new hybrid
Both are good. I would pick whichever you like best.
