[Solved] Can I prolong the life of the CVT in my Nissan?

Hey Scotty, I bought a used 2016 nissan altima  at 41000 miles, it is now at almost 50,000 miles and I’ve heard a lot about the CVT’s in nissans going bad. I’ve seen in youtube videos that installing an upgraded aftermarket cooler and condenser for the transmission would help prolong its life, since the one that comes stock with the vehicle is not good enough and causes the CVT to overheat and wear out faster. Do you think doing so would work or is it not worth investing in it? My old car was a 2008 nissan and the CVT also went out at 240,000 miles, at least my old car was passed down from a friend, I dont want the same thing to happen to this new one, which I have bought with my hard earn money.

Yes, more frequent changes (as Yaser says) will help, as well as driving relatively conservatively. (Yes, the fluid is expensive, but it's still cheaper than a new tranny).

I would rather change the transmission fluid every 30-40k miles and would not drive the car hard.
