Which Toyota Camry SE would you recommend to buy?

Hello Scotty. 

Which Toyota Camry SE year would you recommend to buy? I am looking into but a new car and i would like to buy a Toyota Camry SE but I'm not sure what year to buy that will be good.

For the current generation (which started with model year 2018), they are all good.  If you get a 2018 model year, just make sure the transmission software update (part of TSB) was done on it.  Later Camry’s (for sure 2019 model year) came with it already.  See below:

Now with the SE that has the 2.5L naturally aspirated I4 which is an all new engine and part of the Dynamic Force Series of engines.  No one knows how long they will hold up but there also haven’t been any real issues yet either, which is good.  Just be sure to have the engine oil changed every 5,000 miles and not the 10,000 mile interval that Toyota is recommending.  This new engine family doesn’t seem to like 10,000 mile intervals, and for longevity why take a chance?  Go with every 5,000 miles.
