Looking to start a trash hauling side job here in Los Angeles. Wanna know best value. A 2006 Ford f1-150 4x4 5.4L,v8, 132.000 miles for 14,000 or a 2010 Toyota tundra 4wd 5.7, v8, 153.000 miles for 23.500

I wouldn't pay that much for either, if you do find something else keep in mind that those Ford three valve tritons are one of their worst engines ever with the phaser issues (along with the 6.0 in the diesel class).

Neither truck you listed is a good value. As others have said, too much $$ for way too many miles for 2 old trucks.

Those are too much for cars that old and with that mileage. If you are considering a $24k tundra then that's only $4k less than a brand new Tacoma. Yes the tundra is bigger and you don't need a brand new car for hauling trash, but I'm talking from a price aspect that used tundra is too expensive.

Pass on both.

Geez Louise, I should have become a used car dealer, not.

The one sale I did manage this year was junking the 99 F150 I bought in 2019....paid $500 for it, got almost $800 from the junker!

Couldn't believe a broken framed fred flinstone floor truck got anything. Originally the yard offered $100 then I looked online for those "we buy your junk car" sites. One gave me that nice price & funny enough the same yard that offered me a fraction was the one to pick it up.

As the boom lifted it from the rear, the frame snapped at the cab/bed gap. It wasn't easy keeping a straight face 😆

If I can find more running/driving junkers for cheap I'll do that a few more times.
