Hey Scotty, i currently have a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the 5.3L V8 bolted to the 10 speed automatic transmission at 4500 kms. I'm starting to experience some infotainment system issues to the point where i have no audio what so ever. I've decided to get rid of my truck when the warranty ends before more problems come ahead. So my question is since the 24 Toyota Tacoma is switching to a turbocharged 4 cylinder engine, would the 24 Nissan frontier be a better buy? Thanks

No, stay away from Nissan Frontiers after model year 2019.   If you want a truck that’s going to last look at the Toyota Tundra with the V8 (last generation) or a Tacoma with the V6 (last generation also).

Well you're buying something newly designed that no one knows how they'll hold up. Unless if you want to be a guinea pig for those new vehicles that who knows what the future will bring, go ahead it's your money.

I would also recommend the V8 Tacoma's more reliable and made in America but a new Tacoma even though it's made in Mexico are probably still be better than a new frontier
