Hey Scotty…So I’m thinking on selling my 08 tacoma 4cyl rwd towards the end of the year, and can’t decide if I should upgrade to a V6 tacoma or wait for the new tacoma to come out next year. Or take a chance on the new tundra or think about getting a gently used v8 tundra? Any suggestions?
I would wait on the new Tundra. They had issues with the wastegates on the turbos. I would not go for the next gen Tacoma because it's a new design and we don't know the longevity of the vehicle.
As far as the V6 Tacoma or used V8 Tundra, take your pick. Test drive them. How much money are you willing to spend?
Just depends on what the vehicle has to offer and the price of it is, but probably not over 45k. The problem I have with the tundra is it just drinks the gas
