has been great, swapped front ‘diff’ fluid, tires still look good. The problem is, any time the vehicle is rolling (driving, in neutral - basically just moving) there is a very subtle vibration through the gas pedals. Feels like I’m driving with studded winter tires. Once I hit highway speeds the feeling goes away and it’s smooth as butter.
does not appear to make a humming sound, and no obvious grinding up front when I’ve got the vehicle raised and spin the wheels.
still feel like wheel bearings, but I also know the upper engine mount needs replacing. Not sold on that direction as it has the same ‘studded’ feeling when in neutral.
hoping you might be able to set me in a better direction than I’ve tried myself.
thanks
Well if you say it's doing it while you're rolling driving a neutral, they're not made to run that way. I would never drive the vehicle. That way you can damage things. Just leaving and drive all the time. Now. Those are pretty complex systems as they age. You might get a little rumbling here or there and if you don't hear any noises on bearings yet I would say check the drive. Shafts it all the joints to see if any of them are worn
