Hey all, I have a 2003 Holden rodeo TD 3.0L with 495,000km on it, manual, 0 codes.
there is a very distinct and consistent whistle sound above 65km/h and as my speed gets closer to 85km/h the sound changes tone suddenly and again at 95-100km/h, it's not anything to do with the transmission or engine as the sound doesn't change with the revs or gears. (Just got this car, never driven it before now). Please tell me what you think.

Well whistling sound is often an air leak . So get a phone and record a video around the car. Have somebody else do while you're driving to see where the noise is allow loudest and it's not in the car but under the hood try my video finding the source of car noises Scotty
