White smoke from ac air vent

Hi Scotty, today I noticed white smoke coming from the air vent in my Elantra 2015 while the AC is on cooling. I don't have a problem before and the air conditioning is cold and work probably. What is the reason and solution for that ?

Thanks

Well if your car actually gets too cold you will get white smoke which is ice vapor as it's freezing up. If that's the case, it's a pain in about to fix. You would need a new valve inside but you could just do like I used to do with my cars to that and when they run the AC use the fan on full blast outside air so it won't freeze cuz they are outside is hot and it won't allow it to freeze up

Thank you so much for your reply. You mean I need a new evaporator to replace which is inside the dashboard in my case?

If so, I would use your method and live with it.

I think what Scotty is saying is there is an anti-frost switch or valve that is not doing its job, letting the evaporator get too cold causing atmospheric moisture to freeze on it. I'm not familiar with the HVAC system on your car but typically there will be some kind of setup to prevent that kind of evaporator icing.
