Have 2020 Camry Hybrid LE with 60,000
miles on it. Keyless entry. Why can I leave my trunk open and lock the car ?

Has any thing like that been mentioned in the manual? You could also talk the dealership to see if they know anything? Perhaps if there is a problem it might still be covered under warranty.

Sounds reasonable to me, on many cars you can leave the trunk open lock the rest of a car.
Unlike leaving a door open, in that case on most cars you wouldn't be able to lock it.

the only thing that i can find is something about a key being inside the trunk in a purse and it would not lock
