Why is car dumping the antifreeze?

Hi Scotty,

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 hatchback with 250K miles that, lately,  is dumping it's antifreeze when I turn it off. The car still drives smooth. Ever since the beginning of the month we have been having 100+ weather here in Palmdale, CA. I've noticed that with the hot weather I'm having to top off/fill the reservoir before driving. It doesn't overheat. It dumps it out in the area under to reservoir

 Why is this happening?

 Why is this happening?

Most likely because you have a leak in the cooling system.

Check for a weak radiator cap.
