Why my axels won’t move

😓 hey sir, how are you doing today? If you get a chance to look at this I have a problem. I have a 2008 Honda Civic SI 108,000 miles and I recently changed my CV axle joints and as soon as I went on and started to drive something snapped while I was on and it was only while I was in first gear and the E brake snapped and I can only pull it up, but not hold it and whenever I try to put the car in first gear again and start moving while letting go of the clutch slowly and pushing gas the car just will not move and the E brake sound comes on, even though it’s fully disengaged so I checked the axles. They’re fine perfectly on the outside but I’m not sure if it’s the transmission or axles I can put it in 1st gear and fully let go of the clutch and it won’t die

Well really are there coincidences like two things breaking at the same time. If your emergency brake snapped, I'm assuming it's snapped on and some of your wheels are locked and of course the car won't move. But if there was a coincidence you put those axles in and now the car won't move and you heard something snap off and it will snap where the axles go into the transmission and those will pop out and then the car won't move
