why won’t my Kia Soul start up after I put gas?
Does it only do it after you fill up with gas? Or every time you try to start?
Only when I put gas. It fills up with about $20, I only put less than $15 this time. When I first got the car I put gas the next day and that’s when it all started.
I’d take it back to the seller & demand a fix.

Any codes?
You’ll need to check your EVAP system & possibly the purge valve.

Scan it for some codes first see if you get any

Check your gas cap for proper venting. It may be the old finger on the straw situation where you have to have atmospheric pressure coming into the system for it to work. Of course, you could try driving it with the gas cap off and see if it works. Then you'll know it's the cap.
