Hi Scotty, my mom drives a 2018 Subaru forester. Sometimes the driver's power window malfunctions and either doesn't roll up or doesn't roll up and down smoothly. Also, the automatic function sometimes completely goes out and we have to roll it up or down slowly in increments. All the other windows seem to work fine. What would cause this? Could it be covered by warranty?

I am not scotty but sounds like the window switch .. if it under warranty I would ask for them to fix .. they why try and say did it or some water got in their ... blah blah maybe .but keep on saying it not a wear and tear item.

Take is to dealer and have them fix it under warranty.
