I have a 78 F250 351M and I took off the smog and other equipment that I think was supposed to help the truck start better in winter. Would a winter front be of any use?

Well smog equipment actually makes the it start worse.but if you live in a real cold area a lot of guys will get cardboard or other things to block the radiator when it's really cold and then take it out later
