I have a 2006 Nissan Titan SE with 300k miles automatic. So, the truck runs well. There is a slight smell of maybe burnt oil from a leak the top gasket was replaced I most likely need to change the bottom also. In addition, I been thinking about changing the fluids on the truck including brake fluid, power steer, coolant, and maybe transmission and the differential. As far as I know they never been changed. Do you think with the truck's high mileage, is it a good idea to change those fluids? I change oil and oil filter every 3k to 5k.
I had the truck for about 2years now I bought it from a friend at a very good price about 4k. If you need more info, please ask I am happy to give more Information.
Thank you in advance and enjoy the rest of your evening.
After 19 years it's a good idea for most of them. For transmission fluid issues see the maintenance section of the FAQ.
