Are rusty brake rotors normal

Is it normal for Toyota cars to rust exesevly on the brake disks?

If you mean the face of the brake rotor, yes if you let it sit it will rust. Once you drive it, it will clean the rotors when you use the brakes.

Some rotors are treated against rust, but especially if you live in the salt belt, it is going to rust eventually.

In the end, it usually doesn't matter because they are thick enough to last years before becoming a problem.

Rust does not always mean bad metal, it just wasn't created with as much rust preventative properties in mind.

not just Toyotas. Look at the rotors on ANY car after is has sat. It's just bare steel.
