The most fun car i have ever owned was my first one. A 1963 Corvair Monza. 6 aircooled cylinders, 2 speed automatic trans, would shift into 2nd at 54mph if you floored it. 80 big HP! i 'd buy another today.

My second car, a two door hatchback 1999 Peugeot 206 with a tiny 998cc engine. It drank heavily, smoked far too much, creaked, rattled, groaned, leaked, didn't lock, the rev counter didn't work, the speedo was off by about 15%, shifting from 3rd to 4th almost broke my wrist, but it was mine and I loved it!

Every car I owned had it pros and cons.
No. 1 so far was 2002 Suzuki Swift 1.3 AWD. One of latest cars with almost everything mechanical.
I bought my very first car at 18 in 1984, a used 1968 Corvette Convertable, 327 manual.
I wish I still had it.
