Hello I have a 1999 GMC Yukon 4x4. It will run for about a sec or two then shut off. I've changed the fuel pump(fuel is going to the fuel rail and engine). I've changed the mass airflow. The crank shaft position sensor. The throttle body sensor. I put new spark plugs and wires. New coil. Mostly everything that has to do with cranking. Except for the spider injectors. I have changed those. What am I missing? How can I pinpoint the problem?
The transmission went out and it was still cranking. I went out one day to crank it and it wouldn't stay crunk. So I try to narrow it down and now I'm just stuck. Any insight or help you can provide would be wonderful.
Thanks alot J.
The engine is a vortex V8
And it has a distributor not a coil pack
Clarification: Mileage?
200,000 plus on the odometer. But the engine was swapped before I bought the truck so I don't know the true mileage on the engine.
Already put a ignition control module. Anything that has to do with starting up the motor I've did it. Except for the spider injectors
I am having similar issues. Did you ever get it fixed?
