2010 Kia Optima down shift jerking at 20 mph

Good evening,

I have a 2010 Kia Optima with 95,660 miles. I have not had it scanned and there is not a check engine light on. About 2014 I had the engine long block assembly replaced due to a rod bearing. The engine was replaced at 54,046 miles. Shortly after that the car was put into indoor storage for four years while I was in Okinawa. After I returned the car drove fine for some time. Approximately 2020 I began to notice issues with the transmission. I have not changed the transmission fluid and I guess I just assumed that it was changed when the mechanic shop replaced the engine. When I decelerate to 20 mph the car jerks, it feels like it’s skipping a gear or something, usually it’s a harder jerk if the transmission fluid is not yet warm or hot. There are no issues any other time only when I decelerate to 20 mph. It happens whether I’m quickly decelerating or easing it down. The transmission fluid is at the correct level. I included a link to a YouTube video below, you can’t hear any noise when the car jerks. The car doesn’t make any clunking or other loud noises when it jerks. I don’t know if you will be able to tell when the car jerks but at the end of the video my camera moves toward the gage cluster. Thank you for any help and your time I truly appreciate it.

Don't assume the mechanic changed the trans fluid and filter just because he changed the engine.  He probably didn't.  Assuming you now have 41000 miles on the old fluid (and who knows when it was changed before that) it's time for a new filter and fluid.
