I have a large family - 8 kids, so although I'd like to go smaller with gas prices up, I need the space. I am looking at either a 2003 or 2006 GMC yukon XL, AWD. Which one would you recommend or something else, like a suburban? Both have been well maintained with very minimal rust and original engine, trans, good brakelines, new tires, nothing else needs service, 160,000 miles. BOth from private parties.
The newest model you can afford. Just make sure it DOES NOT have AFM, which I believe started with the 2007 year model.

If you do not need to have a SUV, consider a Toyota Sienna.
