Diesel Exhaust Fluid Shortage

Is anyone keeping up with this? I never heard of it before and thought it was a joke like muffler bearings. Seems like it is used mostly on big trucks and heavy machinery. Do any regular pickup trucks use it?

I’ve heard about the same thing, though does not seem to have materialized just yet. I wouldn’t be surprised, [insert gratuitous political comment here].
And yes, any diesel made now is required to use it. For the planet, or something. (Best comment I read on DEF:”saving the environment, one big plastic jug at a time “)

This is what happens when gov't mandates fancy nonsense. If there were any functioning minds in DC they would just say disconnect the pumps until the fertilizer issue is sorted out.

The solution to the latter could also be organic fertilzer(we ALL pump it out by the pound daily), but again fancy ruins the day.
