Hello to everyone, I stumbled upon this forum since I am young and I wanted to learn more about cars since i’ve been quite interested lately and I haven’t had the time until now. I recently have saved up for a new car for a while and I got myself a 2019 Honda Civic coupe with the 2.0 N/A engine, I know civics tend to be reliable but I would like to know tips on how to maintain this car for as long as I can, because quite frankly I don’t really want to change my car anytime soon and hopefully not run into any problems with this car. Thank you all!

Keep up with maintenance that mentioned in your car's manual. Change the oil and filter every 5k miles (or once a year) and change the CVT fluid every 30-40k miles with Honda genuine fluid only.

Thank you, appreciate it. One more question about my oil, I drove the car around the 5000 mile mark to get an oil change already but my oil life is still at 50 percent according to the car dashboard, Do I get it changed anyways?

If you want it to last, change it every 5k miles. If you drive mostly highway, you can stretch it to 6k miles using fully synthetic oil and good filter.
