| ... configuration - for highway causing a parallel hybrid is much more efficient..@g-tAs far as compering the two technologies, nissan's version of "CMF-B HS platform" is called nissan Note (2020-up E13) and it uses e-Power, while Renault's version is the Clio (2019-up) and it uses a 1.6L engine from the early 2000s with an EDC (dry clutch dual clutch transmission). The dual clutch design achieves 4.3L/100km WLTP combined (despite the older engine)while the new generation fixed RPM e-power gets worse 4.6L/100km..With that being said,Tri-clutch design really a ... | |||||

| In the 80’s, 90’s and early 00’s, I considered Toyota, Honda, and nissan to be the three of Japan, but with quality and reliability. With nissan, now-a-days, I think it is a case by case basis, and err on the side of caution. If the platform, engine, and transmission are more Renault than nissan, pass. If it’s more nissan than Renault maybe. If its a Jatco CVT, be extremely careful, and tread carefully. | |||||

| Looking at a 2002 nissan Frontier 3.3L V6 Auto Transmission w/ 104K miles. Asking price is $3,800. I know nissan is nothing compared to Toyota Tacomas. I know Scotty also has mentioned not a big fan of nissan, but my father has a 95 Hard Body nissan Truck and still running like new. Were these better built? Do you recommend this 2002 Frontier? | |||||
| Should I buy a 2022 Nissan Sentra in Israel? | 14Relevance | 4 years ago | Lawrence woolf | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Hi Scotty, I was on the verge of buying a new nissan sentra 2022 from a dealer when I came across your YouTube channel whilst browsing. Let me start by saying that I live in israel and a new nissan sentra 2022 costs around 45000usd. Not a cheap vehicle, so I can't afford to make any mistakes. On watching your channel, I came across the issues that nissan have with their CVT transmissions. I really like this car, but now I am concerned about the above issues. I guess my question is.....are the new nissan models affected by this production flaw, and is this ca ... | |||||

| Idemitsu is the one producing OEM nissan Matic - S ATF. Honestly, I’d take up the dealer’s offer of 20L for R4000.. As long as they sell it to you in sealed containers of 1L each, it can last you for probably the next 10yrs. Plus, you won’t have to worry about sourcing it every time you have to replace your ATF. Where I am, it retails for ~ R180 and is extremely difficult to find (I hear it’s imported from Thailand). DO NOT use ANY other fluid other than the OEM nissan Matic - S. nissan automatic transmissions are extremely sensitive to the fluid being us ... | |||||

| I personally would not buy a nissan SUV because the quality is not there for me. If you really want a nissan SUV that has everything, look at the nissan Armada. It has a V8 engine and room enough for everyone. Just remember that you will not get the best fuel economy. | |||||
| Answer to: Should I buy a salvage titled Nissan Altima? | 14Relevance | 4 years ago | jack62 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| As a young adult without much cash you should stay away from any nissan with a CVT transmission. I don't care if it was only driven by an old lady to church on Sundays. There's plenty of other cars to choose from. The internet is full of stories from nissan CVT transmission owners and none of them are praising the transmission. Think of a nissan with a CVT as a vampire. It can't bite you unless you invite it into your house. Here's a link to the NHTSA site. In the Complaints section, Scroll down to the FILTER COMPLAINTS BY AFFECTED COMPONENTS list an ... | |||||

| Hi Scotty, I live in Kuwait. One of my Ex colleague had a nissan Altima 2005 which he got new back then in June 2005. Since he is a construction worker, he drives a lot per day. Last year finally he racked 1 million KM on the odo. This was an actual shock for a lot of us since it was a nissan! nissan brought back his car and offered him with a brand new Altima 2022 . Within 3000 KM, the CVT started to act up. He went back to the dealer and asked for his old altima or for a car without CV. Eventually the replaced it with a Xterra 2022 since that was the ... | |||||

| Hey Scotty hope you're having a good day. is it just me or am I crazy ? for the past few months everywhere I go since I live in Orlando,FL I am seeing people driving the older 1st generation 2007-2013 nissan rogues more compared to the 2nd (2014-2019) and newest 2021 3rd generation nissan rogues. even my neighbor she drives a 2014 nissan Rogue select (which is a continuation of those older cars). Thank god I own a 2010 nissan Pathfinder still not the greatest vehicle out there but at least it was one of the few SUVs that doesn't have a CVT back in the day. ... | |||||

It's a 1989 nissan Sentra with about 123, 800 miles with a 1.6 litre 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. However I live all the way in Orange County, Southern California and Scotty you are either in Tennessee or Rhode Island most of the time, and that requires probably a week long, long distance road trip! | Bring external actors to bear. Lodge a complaint with NHTSA (the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration). Call your local media "consumer advocates." What have I've read, here , nissan settled Altima claims (2013-2016) in 2020, extending the warranty to 84 months or 84K miles. You may be out of the mileage range, if this is the valid legal holding. The other class action CVT lawsuit that I found was more recent, and covers various Rogues, Pathfinders and Infinitis. See here. So it may be that you're out of the zone for reimbursement. But ... | |||||
