| 2003 Buick regal fuel pump fuse | 11Relevance | 2 years ago | chaseando16 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| So my Buick regal with the 3800 lost power on the highway. Got it towed and diagnosed. The shop said it was the fuel pump fuse and said they inspected the fuses along with relays and wire harnesses that they had access to besides the ones that they couldn’t get access to without removing interior parts. They said they didn’t find the source of why it blew. I am wondering if it just happened out of old age and miles (187k) or if there’s something they could have missed | |||||
| 2005 Buick La Sabre trans fluid flush or change? | 11Relevance | 1 year ago | SteveJenn18 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| My husband is an avid watcher of yours and with your advice and expertise bought a 2005 Buick La Sabre with just 59,000 miles, garage kept and pristinely kept. My question is, the other day I had a little bit of a hard shift at low mph and was wondering if it would be a good idea for a trans fluid change? I heard a flush is not the best method, not sure if thats correct? When I got home and my husband, Steve started it, he did NOT have any shifting issues, it may have been the “nut behind the wheel” 😅Just need some advice, if you were closer we woul ... | |||||

| It looks like Kanter has brake drums available for 1969 Electra. Check Hemmings advertisers for other possible parts sources. Look into Wilwood or Scarebird for disc brake conversion. | |||||
| 97 Buick LeSabre interior lights not working | 11Relevance | 2 years ago | Sebastien47136 | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| I've had a 97 Buick LeSabre for some years now...good little car, even if it's a grandpa car. 🙂 Recently all of my interior lights stopped working and occasionally the "chime" when you start the car will ding abnormally. (Not while driving, just at start....it might only give a half a ding...it might be delayed by about 10 seconds.) I checked the interior lights fuse located on the driver's side fuse box 8B. A visual inspection says the fuse it good. I swapped it with a spare that was available and I still have no interior lights. (Dome, review-mirror, flo ... | |||||
| Answer to: 2011 Buick Regal Timing Chain | 11Relevance | 2 years ago | Chuck Tobias | Submit Your Question HERE | |
| Engine problems are pretty common with those, with some timing chain issues being reported. However, what exactly does "pistons, etc." entail? The quoted price seems extremely high for replacing the timing chain on a 4-cylinder engine and is more in line with engine replacement. You did not say what kind of shop you took the car to but you might want to get another opinion, preferably from a good independent mechanic. Stay away from dealers and chains such as Pep Boys, Firestone, etc. | |||||
