| I backed up my Volvo V60 2017 D5 Twin engine to a trailer and it went under the car damaged what looks like a cooler in the right back of the car. It started leaking some green liquid and I found a reservoir in the right side of the trunk with green liquid. And it is below the minimum mark. The Car now says there is a hybrid system failure. And when I try putting it in Pure (Full Electric) it says pure not availible do to low hybrid system temperature. I did some research and I think this is a cooler for the hybrid battery. | I have a Renault Clio 2011 with around 100k miles. Automatic. I saw some dripping today from the the left side subframe pillar. There is some heat shielding in the way, cant really feel what it is. The liquid doesnt smell of anything, could it be condensation water. If so, from what or where. | |||||

| I’m not a professional mechanic so make sure to fact check me. The green liquid is most likely coolant. Your heater core has coolant running through it, there could possibly be a leak somewhere within that system. I hope this helps you. | |||||

| Greetings Scotty I have a 2013 nissan frontier pro4x with 93,000 miles automatic, and I just noticed that a green liquid which I believe to be coolant is dripping on my passenger side floor mat, I traced it as far as I could and it appears to come from the inner top part of the dash. | I haven't heard of conventional oil having any benefits over synthetic oil. Synthetic oil maintains it's rated viscosity longer under high heat than conventional oil. I visualize viscosity by comparing maple syrup to water. The maple syrup is a thicker liquid than water, so the maple syrup has more viscosity. Viscosity is simply how easily a liquid flows. High viscosity liquids are thicker and flow more slowly compared to low viscosity liquids such as water. Since synthetic oil can maintain it's viscosity longer than conventional oil. | Hi Scotty, I recently bought a 2007 Lexus RX350 AWD SUV with 100K miles on it. I purchased it in the afternoon, and it drove great but on cooler mornings I noticed the sound of piston slap which quiets down and is virtually not noticeable once the engine reaches operating temperature. I have changed the oil a few times already, and it doesn't use a drop, still full after 5,000 miles. Should I worry about the piston slap or just ignore it and see how long the engine lasts? | I've ran the combustion leak detector twice. Both times show negative results. I run the car for about 10 minutes and test for about 5 minutes. The liquid is still blue. If I breathe into the liquid it turns green making me think the liquid is working. I don't see any swelling in the lines. They do get firmer after running but I would imagine it's due to the system getting pressure. I did a pressure test at 15psi and the lines get firm and feel about the same as when it's running.
