| I have a 2007 Nissan frontier 2WD crew cab SE. I have had to replace the battery every year because they go bad. Seems odd to always have to replace the battery. I have had one battery only last 8 months. What could be causing that? Bad alternator? Anything else I can look at? I’ve tried the Duralast(autozone) and Die Hard(Advance Auto). Are those brands just crap? | |||||

| Get it checked out; but, I bought an '05 frontier, v6, manual 6spd, with 105k miles probably 10 years ago. Amazing truck. My son drives it today with ~260k miles on it.... | |||||

| Should I buy a 2007 nissan frontier with 97k miles standard transmission for $10000 Looks great cosmetically. Matching white shell. Crew cab. I know those years had the SMOD problem, but not the standard tranny's i've heard. The owner said he is in military and getting deployed and doesnt want it sitting unused for long time. Also he is married family man took care of it. He said the last person tried to sell it to, said it was 'running rich' but was using a cheap amazon computer sensor thing. But couldn't that also be checking it on a cold start? | |||||

| So everybody will say tacoma but im doing alot of googling and alot of it comes up that the frontier is rated better than the tacoma? Im thinking of buying one of these. But it doesnt sound like any 23 nissan frontiers actually exist? Anybody got one or are they just a myth. Im personally leaning towards nissan. | |||||

| Hey scotty, ive got a weird problem with my 04 frontier that I really can't source. Most of the time when I try to turn it over it makes a clicking noise, but it never fails to start. Another symptom I get when this happens is the radio turns off and loses its memory. Im assuming it might just be a bad ground, battery and alternator are both good. Any help would be appreciated | |||||

| Hey Scotty! Since a lot of car companies have been throwing in turbocharged engines in most of their vehicles, there's obviously not that much of a selection of brand new vehicles that have a NA engine unfortunately. But one pickup truck I know of is the Nissan frontier that has a new GDI 3.8L V6 with 310 horsepower connected to a 9 speed automatic. Luckily it's one truck that's out there brand new that would hold a naturally aspirated V6 engine unlike next year where Toyota will ditch their legendary V6 in their Tacoma to a turbocharged four banger that wou ... | |||||

| I have a used 2022 frontier s king cab. I bought it with under 5000 km on it. I've been driving it for the past month on multiple long road trips and it's been great. Getting about 8-8.5 litres per 100 km on highway driving. No complaints. Before buying, I've watched countless videos on them and aside from a few minor cosmetic complaints, the reviews overall are decent. Many say it is even comparable to the quality of a tacoma, for less money. | |||||

| I have a 2016 Nissan frontier with the VQ40DE engine. The manual specifies 5W30 engine oil. I have had my oil changed at the Nissan Dealer every 5,000 miles since new (they were charging about the same as the cost of the oil and filter). The truck now has 116,000 miles on it. I noticed on the oil change sticker that they used 0W20 oil. I looked back at the old invoices, and they have been using 0W20 since the truck had 45,000 miles on it. I asked about why they were not using 5W30 and they said that Nissan now recommends 0W20 for my vehicle. I have loo ... | |||||

| I just bought a new gen 2022 Nissan frontier Sv 4wd with the 3.8 NA v6 and the 9 speed do you think I made a mistake? What’s the life I should expect out of it? And do you have any specific recommendations on maintenance on it. I have almost 6k miles on it so far without issues. I payed 38k and have it fully payed for. | |||||

| Hey Scotty probably a dumb question but I have a 2022 Nissan frontier car was in drive and rolled backwards on a hill and stalled I got a service message on the dash and when drove home it seemed it was stuck in 4th gear (home was only right now the street) after getting home I plugged in the scanner and no codes found after starting back up it let me manually cycle through the gears and the service message went away | |||||
