I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier 2WD crew cab SE. I have had to replace the battery every year because they go bad. Seems odd to always have to replace the battery. I have had one battery only last 8 months. What could be causing that? Bad alternator? Anything else I can look at? I’ve tried the Duralast(autozone) and Die Hard(Advance Auto). Are those brands just crap?

Bad alternator?
yes. You always test the alternator when battery goes bad. Especially after only a year.
