| My wife drives a 2011 Ford Edge and one day the battery died. After tge new battery was installed some codes came up saying Collison warning malfunction and service advance track. Also the check engine light comes on and goes off periodically. The check fuel fill inlet warning come on and goes off as well periodically. All of these warnings are very annoying. It has a 112000 miles, should we sell it and be done with it? I have been told by the dealer it needs to be reprogrammed. Also I happened to find a 2001 Honda Accord for $3000. Is this a solid car? | hi sir, I follow your page and YouTube channel and learned a lot from it... I'm a new driver and looking to buy my first car. Since I don't have the luxury to buy a new one I'm looking for a second hand car specifically an SUV. I'm currently looking at the 2013 FORD Edge SPORT with 160,000 KM on it. please can you help me with some advice about this vehicle? | I noticed. I was looking at JLT oil catch can since they have a video on how to install it. I noticed that on their website it's not CARB (California Air Resource Board) Exempt. They won't even ship it to California. I ended up buying a boreoscope so I can start with checking up on my valve before I use the cleaner. Here is the JLT OCC: | |||||

| That is the pre-EcoBoost era Edge if I remember correctly. They were actually decent little SUV's. Have a mechanic check it out and if he says everything is ok, I'd say you have a good 50k to 100k of life left in it before you start having serious issues. Provided you maintain it correctly. | |||||

| Scotty, love the videos. They are great and no bull. my Ford Edge Ltd 2012, 112,000 miles likes to shut down the Synch system every once in a while when I shut the car off. It will stay off for several days and I won’t have gps, stereo, phone, and the heated seats. Then all of a sudden the system will pop back on and go through a reboot process. It’s annoying as you might imagine. could this be a loos connection or a software problem. A dealer will charge a bundle to run a diagnostic. | Personally I hate them. Think they're ugly. I know it's kind of weird to say since I drive an sn95, but I think they totally ruined the look when they switched to the New Edge body style in 99. | |||||
