Hi guys I got a friend that he's thinking about to trade in his car for a lexus. He has a 2016 Ford edge SEL with 30kmiles. The dealership offer him $15k for the suv. What you guy think about the suv, and the deal???. Please help im looking for a good used car and what a better deal that a friend that he been taking care pretty good of that car.
Those fords have transmission issues around 120k miles. It is up to you, if you don’t drive that much and you don’t want to keep the car forever, it might be a good deal for you. I would personally stick to an older Toyota for the same money.
Check out pricing on different sites. But if hes taken great care and the miles are low and you actually like the car, sounds like a decent buy. Juts have an honest conversation about the car and its history (repairs, accidents etc)
