Hi i was wondering if yall could help me out.. i have a 2000 chevy suburban 1500. The problem was it acted like it didnt wanna crank so i replace the crank shaft sensor and starter. Also when I'm driving it seemed like it wasn't getting enough power. Almost like my alternater ain't doing the job so I have replaced my alternater and camshaft sensors.. last night it crunk up but had a bad idle but it didn't turn off so that's gave me hope.. but today the dash wouldn't even light up... I put the jumper to it but nothing happened. I have asked local mechanics and even autozone and they can't even tell me. Maybe I need a stronger alternater? And a new battery? But my batter is only 6 months old. Please help

Test the battery. It's certainly possible for a new battery to be defective.

I took it out and checked it. Battery is at high potential

Did you try to jump start it? You may simply have a bad battery.

Yes I did. I hooked a jumper up to it and the lights wouldn't even turn on... this wasn't happening before I got the alternater either

It's an older truck. Check all the cables, connections and grounds.
