First off thank you Scotty and forum professionals,..you have help me solve my vehicle issues!!

disgusted,...4.6 intake misfire #5 plug / vacuum leak with tach jumping.  I Was made aware of leak at thermostat,..could not afford ,..temporary repaired with high temp sealant ,..bought me 2 months,..

I was able to find Ford intake ,..told they are discontinued and nonreturnable per Ford dealer and local mechanic.  Tackled repair,..did not drain radiator first ,..pulled hose off throttle body that spilled onto manifold,..then DID drain radiator,...

cleanrd surfaces that I thought was sufficient,..able to torque gently 18!ft pounds,.. number 8 was difficult to reach but did torque down,...

started vehicle smoke everywhere,.. crank case full of coolant mix,..

oil change immediately followed ,..coolant clean,..sick to my stomach,..l

5 and 6 had coolant after original intake removed,..

What is your question please? And always provide your model and mileage.

02 explorer 200,300 miles,...

More specifically, should the bolt holes that hold manifold down get retapped and heli coiled due to corrosion? Not that it looked bad but why what else would cause that much coolant in crankcase ?

thx mike

Planning on renting a coolant system pressure tool this weekend in an attempt to verify where leak is
