I have a 2004 Honda civic, the owners before me had swapped the original VTEC engine out and put in an engine without VTEC. Now I have solenoid plugs that don't go to anything which makes the car not rev past 4K. I was wondering if I could put a VTEC head with a solenoid since I have the wiring from the original engine, this won't hurt the block or anything right?

If it is the same displacement engine you could put VTEC heads on it

hey guys I need help, my 2004 honda civic auto ex coupe had a non vtec swap before we bought it. now it wont rev past 4k and i dont need vtec so i was wondering if i could buy a non vtec ecu (used ebay) to fix it I dont car about codes/engine lights, thanks again guys.
Did you scan the vehicle for codes?
