Hello everyone, so yesterday on my way from work my O/D light starts flash. I pulled over and checked the trans fluid and it was good. Please help thank you

i belive this is the over drive. its better to have it turned off. that is some kind of assistance but in most vehicle it wears out the car more than NOT using it. so it has always been a mystery. i also had o/d light when i pushed the button on my gear stick (parked,reverse,neutral,D), i never noticed a difference. is better if you push it back and you wont see O/D anymore. pleas dont use it. check your user manual all the information is there to turn it off
Without O/D you will affect gas mileage. With it flashing tells me you have codes stored, get them read from a code reader that can read all Ford codes and we'll be further along in troubleshooting.
