I bought a 04 Pathfinder at the end of January. It has 79000 miles 5.3L 4 wheel drive. Yesterday I replaced the front break pads and rotors. The wear form side to side was like night and day. The drivers side was down to the squeal tab contacting the rotor but the passenger side was like new at least 80% left on the pads. Could this be just the dealership or previous owner cheaping out and only doing one side or could i have a problem like a bad caliper or proportioning valve? Im not sure if it has ABS but if so could it be a problem with that?

Yes, those are all possibilities, and by the way it’s brake and not break...😉
